Sig Sauer 556 SWAT Folding Stock

For the Sig Sauer 556 SWAT folding stock we stock an adapter plate that will create a sling mount on the left side of the weapon. This adapter plate will only fit the SWAT or magpul style folder, it will not fit the Classic style. Supplied screw replaces the factory screw because of the added width of the plate. Made of aluminum. ***Important-This plate will not work on the SIG-556 SWAT Classic.***

The SIG 556 Sidefolder sling adapter fits on all FACTORY ORIGINAL 556 sidefolding rifles without the classic Swiss style stock. This plate is absolutely required if you wish to use any sling and still be able to fold the stock. Although there it has a small loop that you can use to connect either a sling MASH Hook or HK Clip to the plate, it is strongly recommended that you use a webbing adapter only as the metal clips can eat away at the metal plate.

Using this plate allows the operator to configure the URBAN-SENTRY Hybrid Sling into either a one point or two point sling with the benefit of folding the stock. Please go to our home page and watch the demonstration videos.

This part requires no special tools to install. It only needs an allen wrench.

Again, Please do not order this part if you have the SIG-556 SWAT "CLASSIC" If your SIG-556 is not a side folder, you can use the standard sling receiver end plate as used on the AR15/M4 style rifles on our Sling Attachment and Swivels Page linked at the left on the navigation bar.
