The URBAN-SENTRY One Point sling is sold with two Adapters that attach to your weapon. It does have the ability to be reconfigured as a two point sling. This revolutionary sling quickly converts from a one point sling to a two point sling, allowing the operator to choose which configuration will suit them best. The one point sling configuration is more beneficial in urban areas during MOUT operations, where as the two point configuration will work best in rural areas, on TCP’s, sentry duty, or precision shooting. The conversion can be completed in less than a minute. This sling can be installed on any weapon system. It is versatile enough to be installed on weapons as small as an MP5K, and all the way up to a weapon as large as an M240. The main sling body is universal to all weapons. What makes it specific to each weapon system are the Adapter attachments that connect to the weapon.

The URBAN-SENTRY Modular Sling System is 100% ambidextrous, and adjustable to fit over any amount of gear or just a t-shirt with just one pull of the Cinch StrapTM .

The URBAN-SENTRY sling has a unique method of converting the sling from a right hand shooter's sling to accommodate the left hand shooter as well. This is easily accomplished by simply pulling the two rectangular loop locks apart and removing the Locking Speed Tab for the transition, then flipping the "Ambi-Ring Assembly"TM around, and reassembling it to a mirror image.

The adapter attachments with the male side release buckles can remain on the various weapon systems. Having multiple inexpensive adapter attachments connected to several different weapons, means you can mission select any weapon from your arsenal utilizing the same URBAN-SENTRY Sling.

QUICK CINCH strap. You only need to grab the sling, throw it on, and rapidly cinch it down for a perfect fit. This allows the operator to concentrate on tactics, and not worrying about rigging the sling to fit properly over different clothing and vests!

SIDE RELEASE BREAK AWAY BUCKLES

The URBAN-SENTRY sling comes standard with a Side Release Buckle Break Away to enable the emergency breakaway of the entire weapon system should any issue of sling or weapon entanglement arise. We have specifically chosen the ITW Ghillitex IR Reducing hardware that has an approximate breaking strength of 250-300lbs in order to prevent the tactical operator from becoming hung up on an obstacle, and not being able to manually break away. If this were to occur, the buckle would likely break under the operator's weight or shock load, and free the operator. If this occurs, simply return the sling for free repair or replacement. ITW Ghillitex IR Reducing hardware is more than sufficient to support the weight of any man portable weapon system.

PALS Strip.

The PALS strip allows the installation of our Weapons Catch Adapter, or MOLLE accessories such as a spare magazine pouch, a field dressing pouch, flashlight pouch, emergency weapon cleaning kit, or any other accessory that you might need in a pinch.

DUAL Elastic Shock Expander.

Unlike Bungee slings which can bounce back up and knock your Chicklets (uh...teeth) out, the small amount of elastic webbing absorbs some of the shock that you might experience from the weapon being dropped to transition to your sidearm or while climbing over obstacles. This also allows for the sling to expand while cinched down tight.

Ambidextrous Ring Assembly.

On the sling is a revolutionary method of merging the three intersecting points together. A one inch high strength Delerin Ring is used to allow the sling to better form to your body, which prevents excess webbing from hanging up on the weapon during transitions. This assembly also allows the sling to be converted for left hand shooters. This one time operation converts the sling from a right hand shooter's sling to accommodate the left hand shooter as well. This is easily accomplished by simply pulling the two rectangular loops apart and removing the Locking Speed Tab for the transition, then flipping the "Ambi-Ring Assembly"TM around, and reassembling it to a mirror image. Simply point the male buckle to the left for a left hand shooter, and to the right for a right hand shooter.

If the need arises to fire the weapon from a non traditional shooting stance, the URBAN-SENTRY configured as a one point sling will provide the tactical operator more freedom to conceal their body behind cover.

Any weapon from your arsenal can be safely and rapidly deployed or stowed, eliminating timely sling selection and adjustment to the needs of a wide range of missions.

The URBAN-SENTRY Sling is constructed of 1" MIL-SPEC Mil-w-5625 tubular webbing, 1" Mil-SPEC Mil-w-43668, 1" Mil-SPEC Mil-w-55301, and 2" MIL-SPEC Mil-w-4088, or 2" MIL-SPEC Mil-w-55301 high strength nylon webbing. ITW Ghillitex IR Reducing Side release buckles have a breaking strength of approximately 200-300lbs shock load.
