SIG-556 SWAT CLASSIC & CLASSIC SWAT TWO/ONE POINT SLING Complete Kit

***Before ordering this sling, ensure that you have this exact type of SIG-556 rifle in the photo since there are numerous types of SIG-556 rifle configurations.***

Due to SIG releasing the same rifle with many different names and configurations, please choose the correct kit above. The Swiss style folding stock is referred to as the Classic rifle no matter if you have the aluminum front SWAT, Patrol quad rail or the Swiss style front hand guard. The Classic stock is all plastic and slides into the receiver when you collapse or extend it. If you recently purchased your rifle in new condition then you most likely have the Swiss style stock. Up until recently (1st quarter 2010) none of the SIG-556 rifles with the Swiss style folding stocks had a sling loop installed on the back of the receiver where the stock folds. The only sling loop was at the far rear of the stock. If you fold your stock forward, and you can see a sling loop mounted to the back upper portion of the receiver, you will need an HK Clip Adapter 0-01 in the drop down menu above. If you do not have a sling loop installed on the back of the receiver, you will need to select the Positive Retention Wrap (PRW) as seen wrapped around the collapsible stock in the picture above. This SIG-556 SWAT Classic sling kit contains the front HK style clip to connect to the weapon's sling loop, & the Universal Positive Retention Wrap / 0-30 which wraps around the small of the folding stock behind the receiver as in the photo, or the HK Clip adapter for the newer released SIG-556's with the correct sling loop installed at the rear of the receiver.

It allows the operator to choose which configuration will suit them best. The ONE point sling configuration is more beneficial in urban areas during MOUT operations, where as the two point configuration will work best in rural areas, on TCP’s or sentry duty. The conversion can be completed in less than a minute. The URBAN-E.R.T. URBAN-SENTRY Hybrid Sling is totally ambidextrous one point and two point sling. The US2 features a 2" wide main sling body which affords the operator a lot more comfort over longer periods of carry. Unlike the 1" & 1-1/4" slings that tend to cut into your shoulder and neck. The URBAN-SENTRY'S 2" wide nylon MIL-W-4088K seat belt style webbing evenly distributes the weight. The URBAN-SENTRY series of slings also utilize nylon tubular MIL-W-5625 webbing which does not stretch when wet as well as resists abrasion. The main sling body is universal to all weapons. What makes it specific to each weapon system are the Adapters that connect to the weapon.
