Step 2 The two center triglides will be used to secure the horizontal harness directly to the weapon’s existing sling attachment slots on both sides of the stock. The remaining third triglide will be used to maintain the excess webbing after routing through the male buckle.
Again, please remember the configuration of the triglides and the last male buckle. Remove the male buckle and first two triglides from the webbing and place them to the side in the order that they were removed.
Remove the webbing from only one of the slots of the remaining installed triglide. Insert the webbing into the weapon’s existing sling attachment, and then back through the slot of the same triglide. Now slide the webbing back and forth through the triglide and sling attachment bar to properly position the front male & female buckle around the stock’s thumbhole. | Step 3 Now route the webbing around the rear of the butt stock & get the second triglide. Place it over the weapon’s remaining sling attachment bar. Route the webbing into the top of the triglide, through the weapon’s sling attachment, and back into the last slot of the triglide at the bottom. The bottom of the triglide is flat, and the top is curved. |
Step 4 Again, pull the webbing tight and ensure that the sewn male & female buckles are properly positioned around the front of the stock’s thumbhole.
Now route the webbing into the bottom of the last triglide, and back down through the top. Insert the webbing into the slot of the male buckle closest to the three forks. The webbing is to be inserted into the side that has the part number SS-1CG in the center of the middle fork, wrapped over the center bar and through the remaining slot that has a wedge on it. | Step 5 Now buckle the male and female together. Pull the excess webbing tight while positioning the front male & female buckles around the thumbhole. Once tight, unbuckle the adapter, and finish routing the webbing through the closest triglide like a belt ensuring that the triglide is no closer to the buckle than one inch. |
Step 6 Make sure that you pinch the webbing together retaining the position of the buckle to the webbing. Now reroute the remaining webbing back over the triglide and back through the last available slot, and through the last slot of the male buckle. This allows you to tuck the excess webbing under the harness once the installation is complete. | Step 7 Now re-buckle the harness. The installation is complete. |
