01-12-07 - Two new slings released at the 2007 Shot Show.

The All New sling that we released at the 2007 Shot Show is the US2 (URBAN-SENTRY 2") & The SWAT/IBA Bridged Cinch Single Point Sling. The revolutionary new US2 sling quickly converts from a TWO point sling to a SINGLE point sling. It allows the operator to choose which configuration will suit them best. The single point sling configuration is more beneficial in urban areas during MOUT operations, where as the two point configuration will work best in rural areas, on TCP’s or sentry duty. The conversion can be completed in less than a minute. This sling can be installed on any weapon system. It is versatile enough to be installed on weapons as small as an MP5K, and all the way up to a weapon as large as an M240. The main sling body is universal to all weapons. What makes it specific to each weapon system are the Lanyards that connect to the weapon.

The latest version of our SWAT/IBA sling is the Dual SWAT/IBA Bridged Cinch(TM)Sling.

The DUAL SWAT/IBA BRIDGED CINCH SLING is basically a single point sling which is designed to be attached both shoulders of an operator's ballistic (SWAT), IBA, LBV, or PALS style vest. This configuration evenly and VERY comfortably attaches the weapon to your vest in a single point configuration, perfect for MOUT operations, yet positioned perfectly to remain on your IBA while mobile in a vehicle or aircraft.

It conveniently attaches to the standard grab handles on the back of most ballistic vests and to any PALS/MOLLE system IBA. It is long enough to be placed just about anywhere on the vest, hook to any strap point, either front or back, and still produce a good cheek weld on the weapon. It is recommended however that you attach it to the rear shoulders of your IBA as in the photos to evenly distribute the weight. You are able to cinch the weapon more towards either side of your IBA, or leave it in the center. You can also order an additional WEBBING-LOOP ADAPTER, for the weapon's front sling mount, and an additional SWAT/IBA FIXED SLING to secure the barrel of your weapon to your duty belt, or the bottom of your ballistic vest to climb an obstruction or go hands on with a combatant.. The SWAT/IBA BRIDGED CINCH SLING eliminates having to readjust or maneuver your main URBAN-E.R.T. US2 Single Point Sling to fit over your IBA or ballistic vest and it's gear. To get out of your IBA, simply separate the bridge as shown in the photos.
